In Less Than Two Weeks…

John Levison, author of the newly published ‘Filled With the Spirit‘  (available at a discount thanks to the good graces of Eisenbrauns and about which you can read at this flyer) has agreed to participate with us on the Biblical Studies List in a Colloquium January 4-11, 2010.

Levison’s book is fantastically well written and stunningly insightful. It is a ground-breaking pneumatology excellently rooted in the best kind of exegesis. We hope you will take part in our discussions.

If you haven’t already signed up, you still have time.  And if you haven’t read the book, you still have time to do that as well.

But don’t dawdle.

Reminder: Online Colloquium With Don Benjamin

We’re planning a colloquium with Don Benjamin, author of the newly published Stones and Stories on the Biblical Studies List. We have settled on September 1-8, 2009 for the discussion and we will be discussing the sometimes thorny issue of archaeology and the Bible. To take part you simply need to subscribe to the list and you’ll receive both the questions posed (and you might even pose one yourself) and the answers offered.
