Named Matt. He’s relatively new, dreadfully and sadly under-known, and his distance from the Biblioblog Top 50 is simply appalling. So pay him a visit. He actually has some good things to say- mostly about books.
And as I always say, anyone who loves books can’t be all bad, just like anyone who loves Mozart shows more than average sense and intelligence.

Pray tell, Dr. Jim West, what young Matt did to draw the attention and blurb of the #1 biblio-blogger in the universe?

nothing in particular. i just cast my glance downward from my lofty perch and saw his lowliness, and lo, i was moved with pity…
07/13/2009 at 17:40 |
Gotta say, right now I’m enjoying the pity.

How gracious and merciful of you!
07/13/2009 at 17:58 |
Okay, seems like a good cause….
DON’T JUMP MATT, DON’T JUMP.
JESUS LOVES YOU, and I’m stopping by your blog.

Wow, that’s some star treatment there Jim. Much better than the intro you gave me (to remind you, something like “John Anderson has passed through the birth canal of biblical blogdom . . . . he only has a few posts and some links of interest . . . . ” (check your archives)
Glad to see you’ve gussied things up a bit! (wink)

all will be forgotten when the july b.s. carnival hits the web – I do hope so. All this goo and niceness is far too caramelly.
