When I Was in Beth Shean…

I stopped by the side of the road and snapped a photo of this tomb.  I don’t know why I feel like sharing this little bit of news just now.  I guess it’s because Goodacre mentioned today his last trip to Rome so I thought I’d mention my last trip to Beth Shean.

Ohhh…  I feel a meme coming on!  What was the last interesting place you visited and if you have a photo of it, do share.  There’s only one rule- the place has to have an association with the Bible or James Gregory will get mad and scorn you for posting on a topic not related to biblical studies on your biblioblog.

    • i wouldnt fret about it. all you have to do is as little as place the words biblical studies or bible in a bracket or parenthesis. even if the post has nothing to do with any of it.

This past spring on a business trip to DC I stopped at an old high school haunt, a seasonal ice cream shop in Damascus, MD called “Jimmie Cone.” They offer softserve ice cream and chilli dogs (and one or two other things) and was a regular stop after school once they opened in March.
