SOTS: The Final Evening

January 6, 2009 · 2 Comments

It turns out that Diane Edelman wasn’t to read Knauf’s paper but rather one of her own- on prophets and prophetic texts.  Here are a very few photos.

Everything wraps up tomorrow morning and at noon I’m off to London to de-wrightianize Tilling’s new apartment.  He calls it a ‘flat’ but that’s only because the dear boy’s theological perspective has been flattened by his dependence on the Wrightianist heresy.  Hopefully I can get him ’sorted out’ before returning home Thursday.

Diana Edelman! I thought her book on the origins of the second temple was excellent; in any case, it was among the books that have impressed me most in the past, say, five years. She’s absolutely one of the scholars I would like to meet. You should make a “green with envy” emoticon available to us commenters, Jim. Enjoy your stay in England.
