Members of the Society for Old Testament Study are encouraged to submit proposals for the Centennial celebration of the Society:

The Society is looking to facilitate a suitable centennial project to mark the SOTS Centenary in 2017. This is to be a substantial project that will make a worthy contribution to Old Testament scholarship, perhaps an edition of texts or a digitization project, but in any event something that will be of lasting benefit to the field. The project is in addition to a planned commemorative volume of essays. Proposals or suggestions for the centennial project should be sent to the President or the Secretary.
