Unspeakable Dilettantish Dreck

Antonio Lombatti points out what really has to be the stupidest book ever written (ever, and I mean ever). Here’s a book even Nick Norelli would turn down if they sent it to him to review. And Nick’s never met a book he wasn’t happy to review! I wonder how many Wiki articles Olson has set her gnarled hands to? From the sound of her book, probably quite a few.

  1. Sounds like we have a movie here, where are those Canadians ?
    Joe

  2. Hmm. So Jesus and Buddha are relatives of the authoress? Sounds like the ultimate postmodern syncretic new age poster child for “vanity press”.

  3. Wow! You are quite correct… Not even I would take this as a freebie. ;)

  4. And will the same publisher accept my autobiography:

15 Billion Years of History Have Lead to Me

  5. Oh, man. I checked the authoress out on the web:

Jesus in Kashmir, Patriarchs as Pharaohs, Jewish roots of Buddhism, spiritual people have special DNA, gods are actually space aliens who like special DNA….

I didn’t find the Kennedy assassination, the Knights Templar, or Atlantis, but I’m sure they’re in there somewhere!

  6. That title might even turn out to be more absurd that this one. Although it’s a hard competition. The DNA I think offers up a tipping point of stupidity however.

How long before she is on The Today Show with her “controversial and startling revelation” as a post resurrection “expert”? Bets?

  7. As Joe said, the Canadians will do it. Simcha can put it right up there with Talpiot and Cameron can direct it. And it will make them another ton of money.

  8. Alien DNA? Erich Van Daniken should sue – she’s stolen his ideas!

Look on the bright side, folks – anything she writes makes ANYTHING we write look brilliant!
