Finally, A Holiday I Can Get Behind 100%
April 14, 2008Better than any of the ‘Greeting Card Holidays’ (like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and Grandparent’s Day and all the rest invented by Hallmark to pull money from your pocket and make you feel guilty if you don’t blow a ton of it on someone because they successfully performed a biological function), it appears that today is Blogger Appreciation Day. Let the glorious compliments flow…
UPDATE: Well you festering lot… Not a single compliment in almost two hours. I see how you are. Oh the horror, all the years I stayed up at night with you nursing you through your fever and not a one of you ingrates gets me something for appreciation day. Shame on the bunch of you….

Talk about guilt!!!! : ) At least you aren’t requiring us to buy a card–although I’m sure you would prefer a book…
James
That hardly qualifies as a compliment! You’ve missed the spirit of the entire day!
Er, hooray Dr Defiance!
Or something.
I almost believed it… [*muttering to myself about the hoards of people that I've been such a blessing to and yet go unappreciated for it- it's almost like 'Pastor Appreciation Day']
Dear saints, let us now sign a hymn to honor Brother Jim’s efforts. Let’s turn to #355, “Make Me a Blessing.”

Happy Blogger Appreciation Day, Jim!
(What? Two Days late? Well, don’t hint that I don’t appreciate him enough to read his blog very often. Maybe it won’t occur to him. He’s two years older than I am, he’s got a foot in the grave. Senility, all that stuff.)
Ahem. Yes, Happy Blogger Appreciation Day, Jim. I appreciate all you do. And we all know you do so much.
2 days late…. it’s almost like getting moldy cake and being told by mom to scrape off the mold and eat it anyway.
Well, there are those starving kids in India, you know….
