Bob Cargill notes today

The Qumran Digital Model is currently in its final testing stages before its release to the public. The Qumran Digital Model is a 3D, realtime, virtual reconstruction of the archaeological remains of Khirbet Qumran, the site associated with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Educators and enthusiasts will be able to download the virtual reality navigation software and the Qumran Digital Model to their Mac or PC and tour the ancient site during different phases of its existence. The model is being made available to the public free of charge.

Shell Oil Is Right…

We don’t have to drive as much as we do. But Shell probably should know that their huge profits and their snippy, snide arrogance haven’t won them any customers and in fact have probably (rightly) caused them to lose some. Me, for instance. So, Shell, sure, we can drive less. Or, perhaps better, we can refuse to buy a drop of oil from you and then when you lose all those huge profits maybe you’ll appreciate your customers. But then, heaven willing, it will be too late and you will have been bought up by Bill Gates.
