Sponsored by Samford’s Beeson Divinity School, the series includes a sermon at 11 a.m. on April 15, and lectures at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 16, and at 11 a.m. on April 17. All sessions will be in A. Gerow Hodges Chapel, and are free and open to the public. Stuart’s specialties include Assyrian and Babylonian languages and literature, and the cultures of the ancient Near East. He has written nine books on Old Testament themes. He is a pastor as well as a professor, and is currently senior pastor of First Church Congregational of Boxford, Mass.
