Day One Ends: The Reception

Where I ran into one of my College Prof’s, Don Garner.

And the food was in the book hall.  And it was excellent.  Fresh fruit, cheese, sushi, hummus.  Just delightful.

Tomorrow begins with a session on the work of James Barr.  There have been a number of such sessions over the past year- in Vienna at the International SBL, in San Diego, and now here.  If any modern scholar’s life is worthy of such attention, Barr’s is.  More afterwards.
